Farmington Trees is an acting agency for two major UK tree and plant nurseries.
Whilst we represent both nurseries they are entirely seperate entities.
Bellwood Trees is one of Britain’s largest and best
established specimen tree nurserys, located in the Strathmore Valley in Perthshire, Scotland. With a growing site of some 320 acres, they are specialists in growing, supplying, planting and
relocating premium, semi-mature hardy stock for the Construction Industry, Landscape Architects, Public Sector, Sport and Leisure Industry and major Private clients. The geographical location of the nursery coupled with the fertile grade II soil it rests upon favours the growth of widely acknowledged, hardy specimen stock.
With over 180,000 trees on site there are comprehensive
varieties available in both broadleaves and conifers as well as
large shrubs and hedging.

Established in 1900, J A Jones & Sons is a leading wholesale nursery based in Southport.  Covering a total area of 128 acres, they specialise in field grown trees ranging in sizes from transplants/feathers to, and including, multi-stems and semi-matures.  The nursery has 90,000 trees growing on 105 acres of inherently fertile Grade 1 soil.  Such a soil naturally produces excellent fibrous root systems, which when combined with a strict growing regime, produces strong healthy trees suitable for any situation.  To extend availability, a bespoke air-potting service is now on offer, available for both individual tree orders and large contract grow projects.
JA Jones also produce over 800,000 container grown plants covering over 600 species, ranging in size from 2 litre to specimens in 200 litre plus, with 10 litres a specialty.  To complement this stock, they have developed strong trading links with independent growers throughout the UK and Europe who work to the same high quality standards.  This enables the supply of a complete range of stock required by customers.
